Claire Leonard
Principal & Founder
Claire started performing aged 7, attending many after school dance classes, drama groups and singing lessons. She has performed in many prestigious venues including Birmingham Symphony Hall, Southwark Cathedral, The Royal Albert Hall, Shaftesbury Avenue, Leicester Square Theatre and Her Majesty’s Theatre.
Having left school, Claire then went on to study Musical Theatre at Doreen Bird College, where she received the Doreen Bird prize for most improved first year student. Graduating with a 2:1 Foundation Degree, she went onto further her training at KSA Performing Arts, gaining a Distinction for her Musical Theatre Diploma.
Leading roles include; Dorothy in "The Wiz", Baker's Wife in "Into The Woods", Ida in "Honk!", Nellie Forbush in "South Pacific", Lola La Mar in "Copacabana" and Laurie Williams in "Oklahoma".
Now a performing arts teacher, Claire works with children of all ages and abilities, as well as being an experienced Director & Choreographer for both youth and adult productions. She hopes to impart her passion, enthusiasm and love of theatre to her students.
Becky Bond
LAMDA Specialist
Becky is our LAMDA Specialist, offering one-to-one sessions to students of all ages.
After college Becky worked as a Disneyland Character Performer in Paris. She then trained at RADA on the foundation in acting course and graduated in 2020. Since then she’s been touring with Theatre2U in a family musical as well as with The Cats Grin Theatre Company doing various children’s theatre performances. Lead roles include Alice in "Alice in Wonderland" and Toad in "The Wind in the Willows".
Becky has always loved performing and has played roles such as Wendy in "Peter Pan:, June in "A Matter of Life and Death" and Hermia in "A Midsummer Night’s Dream". As well as performing, Becky has regularly taught for various theatre schools and loves seeing children’s confidence grow. She is thrilled to be working with Aquarius Performing Arts!
